Delivery Information
Delivery Charges and Timescales
We aim to process / dispatch orders on the same day working day where possible, or the following day if all items are available from stock.
S18 will do everything possible to adhere to any advised delivery dates, but they are estimates and subject to change under any unforeseen circumstances and do not form a fixed contract of service.
Orders made on either a Public/Bank Holiday or weekend will not be dispatched until the next working day (provided all items are available from stock) and no deliveries will be made on Public/Bank Holidays or weekends. Any delivery scheduled to arrive on either Public/Bank Holidays or weekends should normally be delivered the next working day.
Orders placed before 2pm on a working weekday will receive their order within working day of purchase. As for orders placed after 2pm please allow for 1-2days transition time. All our order is tracked so if you have any issues or concerns about the your order please contact our team.
Please ensure that someone will be available to sign for the goods. If there is nobody present to sign for the goods they will be retained by the carrier and sent back out for delivery [normally] on the next working day. After two failed deliveries extra carriage costs may be applied. If you have missed a delivery no need to worry as the courier will return the parcel back to the depot to be out for delivery again for the next working day.
All items delivered by carrier must be fully checked before they are signed for. If an item arrives damaged it must be signed for as such at the time of delivery. Failure to do so will result in no claim for damage being considered by S18. Applicable Consumer Law applies at all times.
Collection
If you're considering a collection, you're more than welcome to do so. Our location is in Hull at HU3 4UQ, specifically within the Brighton Street Industrial Estate at Unit 13/14 on Salvesen Way. Please arrange a set Date and Time for collection by contacting our team.
S18 do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for loss or damage resulting from delay in the delivery of goods. Delays due to circumstances outside the control of S18 does not entitle the buyer to cancel any order or to refuse to accept delivery. Applicable Consumer Law applies at all times.
Order Damaged on arrival
All items delivered by carrier must be fully checked BEFORE they are signed for. If an item has any evidence of damage, it must be clearly signed for as damaged at the time of delivery. Notification of any damage must be received by S18 within 24 hours of delivery in order to enable us to action a claim with the carrier. Any damaged items will need to be collected so they can be inspected by the carrier.
We cannot process any form of credit or exchange for damaged items if the above procedures have not been strictly adhered to. Applicable Consumer Law applies at all times.
Order Not Arrived
S18 must be notified within 48 hours of the delivery date on non-arrival of a consignment[s] Failure to notify us within this time frame will result in the loss of goods and no credit and / or replacement items being issued. Applicable Consumer Law applies at all times.
